In order to get a feature added to BuddyPress Media, you have to provide a
concise description of the feature, and compelling evidence that a large
percentage of Buddypress Media installations will use it.
[In less than a paragraph, how does the feature work?]
For BPAlbum+ anyone who uploads an image could use the @ symbol to "tag"
another member on the site in the image. By placing the @symbol in the image
description that would send the image to the "tagged" members activity stream
and the members activity stream who uploaded it.
[Why is this feature necessary? What shortcoming does it fix?]
Necessary so that a member will know when another member uploads an image of
them, and it would let other's know that a new image of that person was
uploaded.
[Are other social media websites implementing this feature? If so, provide
links to example sites.]
Facebook - but they don't use an @symbol. I thought maybe it would be easy to
implement seeing how we can use the @symbol in our status updates to
communicate or "mention" another user.
[Is this feature relevant to many different kinds of websites? Explain
why?] It's relevant to any social media website for more social activity.
[Please attach a sketch / wireframe of the feature to the ticket. (If
applicable)]
