Unable to interact in a game with OVRdrop #72

I’ve had ovrdrop for quite a long time now, one day it was working perfectly fine but now I can’t interact with it at all, it won’t pick up anything I am trying to do, it’s only when I’m in VR though, it shows up on my hand and everything but I can’t interact like I used to, it’s been about 3 weeks since it stopped working for me and I’ve been searching for some kind of solution but I haven’t found anything. Any help would be appreciated, Thank you

This would be about the 7th report I've received in about 3-4 weeks. This seems to be caused by the SteamVR Beta. Please hop off the beta and confirm.

I could fix this internally, but it wouldn't retroactively fix older versions of OVRdrop, so I'm hoping Valve will fix this in SteamVR instead. This is a SteamVR issue, and applies to all Overlay applications, not just OVRdrop.

The fact that I've only received around 7 reports in around 4 weeks, and that I can't reproduce this locally, leads me to believe this is a config issue with the SteamVR Input system, and that it is quite rare overall. Reinstalling SteamVR might help, but from what I can tell hopping off the beta fixes it and hopping back on breaks it again. If you search around the Steam Community Forums for OVRdrop or the SteamVR subreddit you'll see there are a few reports of this behaviour.

I’ll trying getting out of beta I know reinstalling steamvr didn’t fix it and neither did tryin to reinstall ovrdrop itself either I’ll let u know tho, thank you

@Lauren2345 Could you confirm if this was ever fixed by Valve? I was never able to (and still cannot) reproduce this issue.
