[ ] porting analyses from Matlab -> Python -- work with Aaron.

what analyses will I need? what code do I know I'll need to write?

when I'm converting my matlab to python, write up the lines of code that I'm recreating in python in my comments of the python code.

I think you should literally sit down and write out a list of all the functions and methods you're going to want in Python, and then we can start planning from there
