It would be great to be able to control who can create rooms. For example, you have a list of accounts. Only those accounts can create rooms. Anybody else can visit the rooms, but cannot create a room or create an account.
This is useful when organising, for example, a virtual exhibition of student work (which is what I'm doing at the moment), where there is a central foyer room, from which there are links to different rooms created by students. (The student-created rooms link back to the central foyer room. ) General public can visit all the different rooms and interact, but can't create their own rooms.
