AWS room creation fails with "Unable to connect to this room" #219

I just have set up a MozHubs Server (Personal) on AWS (latest version, recommended settings) and always now get this error: "Unable to connect to this room, please try again later. You can try connecting via TCP, which may work better on some networks.

You can also create a new room."

Same error for us Java console showing repeated websocket errors Using v1.1.2 template MacOS Firefox and Chrome

This was an issue with the AWS template used to create the v1.1.2 stack. It has now been fixed, so you need to upgrade your stack to the latest template (see instructions here). I had the same problem and can confirm that the fix works.

Made clean install with template v1.1.2 and all good now
