Oculus Browser on Samsung Gear VR does not enter VR or work at all #3878

Description When I tried hubs.link on the Samsung Gear VR the browser remained in 2D mode as a rectangular window in my field of view. I couldn't move forward or do anything except click on buttons outside of the frame.

To Reproduce As stated above

Expected behavior The docs suggest that this hardware should work.
https://github.com/mozilla/hubs/wiki/Hubs-Features#entering-on-a-mobile-vr-headset

I tried one of the A-frame demos and it worked okay, which surprised me because I thought Hubs is built on A-frame, so if one works so should the other.

If this hardware is abandoned then it needs to be determined and stated clearly in the docs. There are a lot of Samsung Gear VRs available on eBay and you don't want loyal users to waste their time buying them only to find they don't work.

Screenshots N/A

Hardware

Additional context There are comments in the Samsung VR forum that some update to the browser has broken it. Unfortunately I can't get a link to those comments are they are only in the Samsung Gear VR store. But anyone else with one of these devices should be able to see comments on this very low rated 2.7/5 app.

Here's some screenshots of what the version of the Oculus Browser is and what happens when I try hubs. There is no enter VR mode. One of the A-frame demo apps was like this, but not others.
