Hi @skompc, Hubs should now use the accelerometer and gyroscope sensors in non-VR mode on mobile devices. Could you explain why you'd want to use VR mode without Google Cardboard services?
Simply put my phone isn't compatible...
Ah, I see. Do you mind sharing the model of your phone? I'm curious what category of devices we are missing.
there's a lot of phons where gyro is simulated with other sensors to keep phone cheap, like huawei P10lite i.e. wich are incompatible with cardboard (it runs, but cannot work with gyro and set errors.) is that that OP means?
Sorry for the late reply. I had an old epsio moverio 2000 ar headset that had the required sensors but android version was too low for cardboard

I'd like to get into the VR mode without needing to install Google cardboard services.
Also related to this is using accelerometer only in webvr and not relying on the device having a gyroscope.
