Hi, I am trying to apply extension for VRM, but this this three.js lib is alot behind of original branch, is there any upgrade planning or I can fork can upgrade it myself?

I wouldn't count on any updates, unfortunately. Mozilla has been pivoting away from their AR/VR efforts.
