Adds a WFA-like edit distance calculation, which is faster than the typical grid-approach by small benchmarks (see below)
Adds benchmarking for the routines in align.rs
Shaves off another ~5-10% of the current runtime compared to 0.1.6

I don't see any obvious way to make these new functions faster; results are identical to previous version 👍
