@kainedusher Will review with Yang and give you a date to when we will undertake the deployment
@kainedusher , could you add me to the STmetrics API repo?
Hey Yang,
I forgot that it was private - sorry about that.
I believe Dr Bill will need to add you to the repo, so I will cc him in this email.
Thanks,
Kaine

I'm wondering if we can push this one up the list. To the best of my knowledge, Kaine has the STM API ready and now work is needed by Mufeng and Yang to deploy it on the platform. It would be great to move to the testing stage and then have something deployed that users can work with, even if we continue to add to it and refine it.
@MufengNiu figure we need to walk through the approach with Yang before we start
If the STMetrics doesn't depend on GHAP, it would be better that it sits in a separate server for decoupling. As Kaine is the best person who knows everything about STMetrics, it makes more sense for Kaine to set all the things up in a dedicated server in Nectar cloud. We can provide assistance to create the server instance in Nectar if it's needed. We can organise a meeting to talk about options with Kaine.
This is being deprioritised, as the TLCM devs will have access to test, to test deployment. When they have a working system, we can collaborate with Systemik to establish servers and set up deployment and documentation.
STMetrics is the web API that will be used by GHAP to send analysis requests and receive JSON responses containing the corresponding results. The project was implemented using the Django framework and requires the Celery dependency alongside the Redis message broker.
Please see the following resources:
Once the API has been deployed, please let me know and I will commence endpoint testing. Afterwards, I will write the documentation that outlines how to use the API so you can start calling it from GHAP. If you run into any trouble, please feel free to contact me at any time. Thanks!
