KeyMapper only worked once in Windows 7 #10

Hi,

I wanted to map Caps Lock to Left Shift. I used KeyMapper for the first time
with Windows 7 (had no problems with Vista before). After one change of a
mapping, it now does not work any more.

I did the following:

1. Mapped Caps Lock to Left Shift for user.
2. Logged out and in.
3. Recognized that mappings do not work on user level in Win7.
4. Mapped Tab (incorrectly instead of Caps Lock) to Left Shift as boot mapping.
5. Exited KeyMapper
6. I got notified that I will have to agree to a change in the registry
7. Accepted the registry change
8. rebooted
9. Tab was now mapped to Left Shift
10. I want to undo the mapping, but now KeyMapper does not change mappings any
more. Regardless what I do (unmap Tab, map other key, reset to default),
KeyMapper saves the change, but I get no confirmation message after exiting
KeyMapper, and when I reboot, the changes will not be carried out. Still, only
Tab is mapped to Left Shift.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system? Windows 7,
SP1

Best regards,
Oliver
