Some words in Mobile phone still show English

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. At standby
2. Someone called you
3. If the phone is locked, it shows "Slide to answer"
4. If the phone is not locked, it shows two icon, one is Decline, another
one is answer.

5. Pop-up message also shows in English! There are three words, "Close" =
"បិទ", "Reply" = "ឆ្លើយតប", "Dismiss" = 
"ដេញចោល".

6. The word "Missed Call" also shows in English. "Missed Call" =
"ការខកខានទទួលទូរស័ព្ទ". See the last 
image for detail.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

A: I expect it shows "រុញដើម្បីឆ្លើយ" instead of 
"Slide to answer". "Decline" =
"បដិសេធ" and "Answer" = "ឆ្លើយ" .

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
A: I'm using iPhone 3GS.

Translation is not easy. As we don't have the standard khmer language interface 
in
any phone yet(i'm not sure). 

Examples from yours. 
"Dismiss" to "ដេញចោល" . What do you think when the people who 
cannot speak english
see this word? 

Another example. "រុញដើម្បី​ដោះសោរ" . "Slide" 
doesn't mean "រុញ". "រុញ" = push . 
Every iPhone user is smart enough for this. Why don't we just use 
"ដោះសោរ"? 

"Missed call" doesn't mean 
"ការខកខានទទួលទូរស័ព្ទ". "Missed call" 
is the call that you
missed. The translation should be 
"ទូរស័ព្ទ​​មិន​បាន​ទទួល". 

I'm not a translator. This is just my opinion.

Good idea! I also want other people give idea in translation! Only one person is
difficult to do so. 

Nokia already translate their s40 user interface to Khmer, Nokia already 
release 12
Khmer language phones in the market.

Yes I knew about push = រុញ but I cannot translate "Slice" to Khmer. 
Missed called =
"ទូរស័ព្ទ​​មិន​បាន​ទទួល" is great!

Are you translating? If so, we can talk. We can exchange the idea. I want to do 
it
too, but it's hard to do it alone. I can speak japanese and can read a little 
thai. I
think I can make good comment for the translation. I'm 100% cambodian. :)

Oh! Really? Yes of course, I would like to have Khmer words for electronic 
device. If
you would like to share your idea, you are welcome! You can read Thai, it's 
great
because Thai already embed to iPhone OS, Thai words are similar to Khmer.
