Featured Project error on clean install #365

When first accessing the web app on a clean install, Featured Project shows:

Error

Requested project does not exist in the repository

Full project details...
----

That links to http://localhost:8080/?wicket:interface=:1::::, which also shows 
an error.

This is because the database is empty.

you can work around this (and other issues relating to an empty database) by 
inserting the test data (go to the tools menu and click "insert test data").

However, the featured proejct widget should fail gracefully.
