Carriage returns in DOAP file break import #396

If your DOAP file looks like this:
...
<shortname>
Mycode
</shortname>
...

Simal tries to open a file containing a newline (eg "backup\\\nMycode.xml"). 
This is on the "DOAP form" page.

Interesting, clearly a simple case of trimming white space on ingest.
