Hide authors

Hi, I've been using Hugo Academics for about 3 years, and it is awesome!! So, I was wondering if it was possible to add some new features related to authors.

First, I'd like to set a parameter to hide an author from my people widget or hide a category of authors. For instance, I want to show my students, but I don't want to show other researcher authors under my people widget. Second, I'd like to have an option to hide the author's biography on publication footers. Finally, I like an option to show a biography on each of my student profile pages.

Hi @fabrizziosoares,

I'm a user of this theme, so probably I can help:

• To show your students, you need to create a new author and assign it to a group you can call it students. Once you have that on the people widget you should add the group for your students. In this example students.
• Not sure how to answer the second question.
• Once you create a new author for your student, you'll have a file call it index.md that you can edit per student.

Thanks for your help. Based on your answer, I was able to figure out how to show a specific group of students on person widget. I did not find another way to omit bibliographies and social icons on papers and projects footers. I added a bibliography for each student, but is not showing on their profile pages.
