🚀 [Feature] Administration of Badges #1183

:rocket: Feature

This feature is related to #419 .

  1. Human Connection needs automatic rewards of badges.
  2. An admin needs to reward and edit badges.
  3. A user may like to hide some of its own badges.

Design & Layout

  1. Automatic rewards of badges: a. Donation badges (blue): For donations with counter for each. May be as a little number in a red circle at the badge. (the solution in the old Alpha was a file import, ask Viktor) b. Achievement badges (purple):
    • If the user has invited X other users which have been registered on the network.
    • Invited X humans to the Clock of Change (COC) which signed. (ask Jassi und Hardy)
  2. Admin: a. For corrections on badges. (accounting department, ask Viktor) b. Rewarding status badges for rules (green):
    • admin (temp)
    • moderator (temp)
    • supporter/ambassador (temp, has accepted certain documents for this rule)
    • certified user (no bot, certification process)
  3. User: a. Hide and show badges for privacy reasons. #284

If you hover over a badge there should be an appearance of a short Tooltip about what the badge means. Dennis said, there are already some descriptions for this.

I wouldn't mark admins ..  for security. nobody has to know which ids the admins have .. moderators yes. is my opinion

@ogerly raised the question if an admin should be able to post or comment?

This is still relevant in my eyes. We should ask @DennisHack and Victor. @DennisHack demanded this and in-between I heard talks about the necessarily. @datenbrei can you clarify this?

That was a good decision Dennis. The idea with the badges is tempting, but can cause serious behaviour. Competition by winning awards splits the community and often triggers envy, resentment, pride, arrogance, feelings of injustice, anger, etc. At Human Connection we all want to be treated equally, don't we? The competition about good entries and lots of comments is much better.

@Tirokk I think the badge admin should be implemented somewhen in the future, but before re-enabling them we need to have a concept about badges and how to use them. Also data privacy issues should be taken into regard, especially when correlated to donations.
