Greetings! Yes indeed, I have got it working but the volume is a bit too low. I'll try to fix that in my next update (which is just going to drop!). Regards ~Human7900
I'm very curious how you do it with the newer Opencore as the sound settings have changed :(
Can you reveal your secret how you found the ranges of rtcfx_exclude=0E-7F,AC-FF I've tried yours and it works on my 850 G3! I'm a little afraid that they're so wide, or aren't they? Thanks ;)

Guess I've got that covered in the next update, but still have to test it.

haha yeah I guess they're wide so I have replaced them with another patch which should work better afaik.
ps: The update should drop tomorrow if all goes well. Thanks! ~Human7900
Hello! Can you test the boot chime and the RTC patch from the latest release so that we can work on closing this issue? Thanks! ~Human7900.
@Bogey Any update?
@Bogey Any update?
Thing is that your config.plist is radically different that what I've got working now. Has the area that you excluded for RTC changed or is it still 0E-7F,AC-FF ?
Ok, I figured out that it's 58-59, B0-B3 and D0-DF. With your previous I didn't need the 58-59 in order not to see RTC post message. So I guess the checksum is ok. Won't it work without in your current setup?
Well I and my friend tried with this a lot and this is the best we could do so far. ( I am bad at this) and what matters atm to me is that it does not affect macOS functions which it doesn’t. (At least for me, let me know if it breaks things at your end.) Also, I’ll be releasing a release later today, can pls test the boot chime with that. Thanks! Human7900.
Please try the latest release for the boot chime. Just wanted to clarify my previous comment, I mean I can shrink th range (Or at least I t think so) but there is very little to gain from this and the effort and time invested is much more.

On my 850 G3, I cannot get boot chime to work. Have you succeeded with it?
