Improve labelling of % figures for people at risk #85

There is a general problem of people misinterpreting the percentage figures. Pretty much everyone thought the % figures shown were the % of that population who were at risk, and people did not click on the little explanatory i button. When we asked them to click on it, then they became clear.

Suggestions to fix:

  1. Can we have the tool tip text be shown permanently (not only on hover?)
  2. Should we include more explanatory text above the wordclouds? e.g. Replace "The images below show their answers." with "The images below show the percentage of human rights experts who identified each group of people as being particularly at risk of having this right violated."

Timo - we really like what you've done here and we are confident it will fix the misinterpretation problem we currently have. A few comments and questions:

  1. When user clicks on a group to "fix" the tooltip, we would like that text to appear just below the explanatory text at the top, rather than replace it.
  2. Thalia will review both the explanatory text and tool-tip text before we finalise them. Once we're all happy, I propose we get the text translated ASAP so that we can launch this feature. OK with you?
  3. We have a question about whether it would be a good idea to be able to "fix" the relevant text for more than one group. Our thinking was that this could be especially useful for two groups where there is overlap. e.g. human rights defenders and journalists. Or "people from particular cultures" and "people of particular races". What do you think?

Hi Timo, We would like to change the explanatory text as follows. Please replace: “Text size based on percentage of human rights experts identifying each group as being at risk of having this right violated.”

with

“INTERPRETATION: Larger text = more human rights experts identified this group as being at risk”

The tool tip text is fine as is. But this text should be added below the explanatory text on click, not replace it.

We are now sending the above text to translation. Thank you!

Great! I will still have to add the new text bits to the translations file (incl the English version where you will be able to edit it)
