label studio slowes down when importing OCR preannotations #2215

Hello,

Following this post , I converted my OCR output and were able to successfully import them and see the document and bounding boxes in label studio. I am importing bounding box for 10 images and and each image has between 700-800 bounding boxes. Once I open an image to annotate and look at the bounding boxes my browser slows down significantly and does not let me annotate data properly.

I have tried latest versions of Firefox and Chrome. Although Chrome was slightly faster, still it is very slow that I cannot annotate data properly.

Do you have any recommendations or solution for this scenario?

I can confirm. Also multiple boxes cannot be selected with the Shift key as the documentation claims (https://labelstud.io/guide/labeling.html#Select-multiple-regions). Sadly, this makes interface hardly usable for OCR word boxes labeling.
