Can't test this, please make sure to do so before approving and merging. Unfamiliar with Ruby, but this seems to be the crux of the problem. Thanks.

This should fix #211 though. Please verify @Humblemonk

Going to close the pull request out and go a different route. Before the slash command implementation, the bot ignored user names in rolls for DMs as it didn't make sense. Re implementing that again
