This only happens for user hunter, ash works just fine for some reason

After running home-manager-generation, logging out, then logging back in, the icons/links in the taskbar work properly again. However—the application menu never repopulates with the missing programs, which means many of the programs (especially GUI programs) are difficult to use and easily forgotten.
