Zygisk doesn't work #11

Open sn-o-w opened 1 year ago

For some reason, LSPosed doesn't work. I installed it, and I rebooted it the device many times.

"LSPosed is not installed" despite I can clearly see it enabled inside Magisk Manager.

Modules installed:

Magisk log: magisk_log_2023-11-26T15.45.21.log

Magisk Installed on device -> R6561D823-kitsune

Can you provide your ROM source code?

Can you provide your ROM source code?

Device tree: https://github.com/z3DD3r/android_device_lge_hammerhead/tree/lineage-17.1 Vendor tree: https://github.com/z3DD3r/android_vendor_lge/tree/lineage-17.1

If you need the builds of the ROM, I download them from here: https://sourceforge.net/projects/hammerhead-lineageos/files/17.1/signed/

Did you find anything useful? 🤔

Sooo... I switched to the official Magisk build (Canary) and enabled internal Zygisk. The first boot after Zygisk was enabled in Magisk took some time. But now, the subsequent reboots seem to have a normal speed.

For some reason, ZygiskNext doesn't want to work on my device. I tried to disable Zygisk and enable ZygiskNext, then reboot my device, but no use.

So I guess my device doesn't like the changes you have made to Magisk Delta or to Magisk Alpha, and there is something inside the ZygiskNext module that doesn't work with an older device like Nexus 5? 🤔

Hello. Similar problem here (as per my journey at #46 ...). The reason I was forced to use Riru, is because MagiskHide with Zygisk proved buggy for me.... (however Zygisk itself seemed mostly functional unlike with OP) - hidden apps would fail to launch properly. So I assumed it is not possible to use MagiskHide with Zygisk?

Description: LSPosed not working with Magisk Delta (but works fine with Magisk v26.4 official ...)

Same behaviour regardless of whether flashing Delta via Magisk/apk upgrade, or TWRP/zip method.

I am using N950F_G95xF_DeluxeROM_v32_REL.zip (Galaxy Note 8, Android 9). But I suspect the problem is somewhere with this Magisk fork, as I don't have this problem on stock Magisk...

Regards

So... I used Magisk Canary official for almost two weeks.

30 mins ago, I restarted the device and suprise... It stays in bootloop if Zygisk is enabled... I rebooted like 3-4 times already, but no use... Device boots fine with Zygisk disabled. What the heck is going on with Zygisk?!?!!?! 😶

Do we have any solution to this?

Hi, I'm experiencing the same issue on Xiaomi Mi 8 after a clean flash of an Android 14 ROM. I was not experiencing this on the same device running Android 13. Thanks

I'm also having this issue with zygisk on Nox emulator Android 12(64 bit) with magisk 26.1-delta. When I enable zygisk and reboot zygisk is disabled again. Has anyone found a solution?
