Perhaps the error message should not say that the date format is invalid as the format is actually valid, just that the date does not exist

It says that the 'Your day format is incorrect', which means the day you have input is wrong.

Reason for disagreement: As a user, if I see "your day format is incorrect", I would think it is the format that I have entered in being wrong, instead of the value being wrong. I don't think it can imply "the day you have input is wrong" as mentioned by the developers.
