I have a couple of land parcels in Decentraland, and I had the idea of letting one be used by the Hydro community. If the community would prefer a different location or to have multiple adjacent parcels then perhaps community tokens could be used to purchase that.

Why do something in Decentraland?

• It would a fun project to work on
• To have a place to talk and learn about Hydro tech in a more immersive way
• Another way to demonstrate Hydro as being an innovator in the space
• Since Decentraland is built on Ethereum this could help build more synergy with the whole ecosystem

What would we be creating?

• My initial thought is we would build a multi-floor building. The parcels are only 10M x 10M so building up seems to be the only option.
• I'm picturing a phases of water theme throughout. Perhaps the building could appear to be made of ice.
• First floor could be a place to hangout and chat
• another floor could be a private lounge - requires the use of Hydro Raindrop to enter
• perhaps a floor for each phase of Hydro? Raindrop, Snowflake, etc. each themed or perhaps even with the corresponding weather happening inside

These are just some ideas to get things rolling. Of course any ideas are welcome. I'm a developer but I don't have VR or 3D experience. I would love to contribute. It would be great if we had someone in the community with 3D modeling experience to contribute.

Nice idea! We talked about this at Hydrogen is a recent Chemistry Lab brainstorming sessions. @AnuragHydro might have some good thoughts on this. Perhaps the two teams from Hydro and Decentraland can have a biz dev session to talk about something more strategic too (e.g. making Hydro the official authentication or validation of users of Decentraland)
