We have very few compute points at the bottom of stage-damage functions, and that appears to be an issue where there is a large difference between the min stage and the index location and the stage at the index location at the most frequent event in the hydraulics data set, and when there is quite a bit of damage for the most frequent event in the hydraulics data set.
In this example, there is a three-foot difference between 2.0 compute points, resulting in the loss of important nonlinearity
