Importing ASCII Files to DSS #64

I am trying to use the importer.exe to import a set of ascii files and create a DSS file for HMS. The DSS at the end of the importing steps give this message "There are no records in the HEC-DSS file". For ASCII file type are there any recommended steps to follow?

I recommend reviewing Raster Filename Parsing. Additionally, be sure projection files are included for each ASC file.
