BUG: Emoji picker closes on click before choosing emoji #1617

I'm trying to select an emoji for a badge icon in Roles/Badges. The emoji picker closes on my first click, so I am not able to select the emoji. This happens on web and mobile. And if I don't have an emoji I can't save the Role.

Hi Clare -- I don't believe we've met. Is this happening in production or the new Responsibilities branch? (I'm unable to replicate the issue on the main and dev branches)
