I started digging into this a few weeks ago.

Its a bottomless pit... The picker is bugged. Updating the dependency means transitioning away from moment to dns.... so it opens that can of worms.

Some redesign feedback has also targetted the management of dates/times as an issue with posts as well. So its likely we need to fully reevaluate how we are handling dates and times (particularly timezones) in general
