Description

SL Logistics and FL Logistics are logistic enterprises. SL Logistics operates only in Switzerland and FL Logistics operates only in France. They want to expand to the international market, but they do not want to assume the burden of setting up the required infrastructure. They negotiate and decide to create the LA Logistics Association (i.e., a Community Entity).

The founders define that the LA Logistics Association will provide only logistic services, thus the members must be logistic enterprises. Each member will have the monopoly in providing logistics services in specific areas. Thus, new members cannot join the association if there is a current member that already provide services in the same area.

The association will be open and other logistic enterprises may join later as long as the association norms are complied with.
