did you check issue #46 ?
Yes, this is why we raised this issue. We see the explanation about the suppress of 'H', but no reason about the use of :HypermediaMASPlatform
. In all the text the used terms are Platform
. The term :HypermediaMASPlatform
is in the ontology. Do we keep it?
@gnardin @oboissier the issue that discusses the evolution from :Platform
to :HypermediaMASPlatform
is here: https://github.com/HyperAgents/ns.hyperagents.org/issues/20
In short: :Platform
was the initial proposal but concluded to be ambiguous, the intermediate proposal was :MASPlatform
, which was concluded to be ambiguous still, so the name of this concept then morphed into the more specific :HypermediaMASPlatform
.
We should update any remaining references to Platform
. We can also reopen the issue to consider new proposals.
I don't think it is necessary to reopen the #46.
According to the title of the issue, it refers only to the use of the term :HypermediaMASPlatform
and not :HAgent
nor :HArtifact
. For :HypermediaMASPlatform
the reason was to disambiguate from :(MAS)Platform
that wouldn't have the basic requirements for Hypermedia.
For the use of :(H)Agent
we decided to not consider the (H) to keep the ontology as simple as possible. It seems that we actually don't need to make such distinction.
Ok. Thanks for your replies. The point was not on issue #46 but as Andrei answered, it was about #20. Given your explanation and content of #20, I agree to keep the :HypermediaMASPlatform term.
Thank you for the clarifications. I had missed the explanation in #20.
Are we going to keep the label
:HypermediaMASPlatform
?We could not find any issue that explain the change from
:Platform
to:HypermediaMASPlatform
,
