Text cut off in Windows Explorer toolbar #118

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

Which program triggers the problem? Specify the filename if possible.
Loading GDIPP.

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Set hinting to "0"
2.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Text to not get cut off.

What version of gdipp (including renderer)? On which operating system?
x64 0.9.0 Windows 7 64-bit

Please provide any additional information below. Screenshots always help.
Hinting at 0 cuts off text. With it set to 1, and all settings default, I
notice that it barely gets cut off, but it is still cut like a pixel..
Screenshot shows the personal setting I like, with a hinting of 0, and how bad
it gets cut off..

This is one of the main improvement in 0.9.1. The story is, in 0.9.0, gdipp
replaces many more Windows APIs than any of its predecessors, thus
significantly improves compatibility. However, the replacement is not complete.
One more critical API is now replaced in 0.9.1 and everything looks fine.

Hope you'll enjoy the upcoming new version.

I will look forward to the upcoming version, can't wait! This is the only
renderer I have that renders large sized text without appearing in ClearTypes
pixelated appearance.. (ruining the windows aero appearance).. And since I'm
a Mac user normally, makes me feel at home..
