Adding Sensors #116

Hello! I'm new to github and also Winhue and I have some questions.

First I would like to say how amazing this program is and thank you for creating it. While adding lights/groups/ scenes is relatively easy, I'm having trouble adding sensors. I livestream on twitch and would like to know if it's possible for me to add a sensor to play a certain pattern of lights based on a specific sound clip or wave off my stream? If the sensor is the way to go anytime I try to create one the program crashes on me. Thanks!

At the moment there is no way in WinHue to play music and match the beat and intensity with lights. This is something I would like to add at some point when the app is stable enough. Sensors are only to detect changes in specific things and not related to music. One would need to analyse the music and match the beat and intensity trying to mimic the music by sending command to the bridge.

Hey! Thanks for such a fast response. Maybe I didn't word my question properly. I don't really need the lights to match the beat of the music, I just need the certain sound wave to TRIGGER the scene some how, if that makes any sense.

it's about the same thing. You have to read the music stream and find the specific soundwave you want and send a command to the bridge there is no such thing in WinHue at the moment. I have added your request to the feature request and will try to implement it when I can.

Thank you for the clarification! Like I said before, excellent work on this program. The default program that comes form Philips for the lights I have is extremely mundane, you're doing a great service!
