I have exactly the same problem (since 21.10.2023 14:50). I face the timeout problem also in the official Bluelink app. (Hyundai Kona Electric, Germany)

I asked Hyundai support on what to do with this problem. They told me to restart the infotainment system. To do this, use a pointed object to press in the small notch on your infotainment system at the top right for a few seconds. This solved my problem; Bluelink is working fine again (also the Python app). I'm a happy camper!

Seems to have just started on its own here. Clearly was having "a moment" in a big way.
