Always "first" or "last" breaks Chrome's built-in "tab groups" #31

Hi,

I have the customizer set to open new tabs always last. This breaks the, somewhat new, feature of tab groups. Normally, any tab opened from within the group should be marked as part of the group.

I've made some tests and found this is related to relative position, meaning, if the "last" position is adjacent to the tab group it will work. The same if you use "first" and it's adjacent. But if there's another, non-group tab, in-between, then the new tab will not be part of the tab group.

I expect this to not be worth the actual effort, but if you manage to fix it it would be great.

HI,

Sorry for the late answer.

Its been awhile since I did research for this extension. I have not looked into this at all. But if I do another revision of the extension I will keep it in mind and check out if there is something to be done.

At this time and point I dont actually have the time unfortunately.

Hey, no problem, just wanted to point it out in case you did any further development.
