Cannot change icon #32

I want to change icon through (custom image) option found in the settings but after choosing icon and restart plasma the icon applet disappears

Can you send me a copy of the icon file?

path4 I've tried several icon files with many extension (PNG, SVG) and this is one of them, actually it's the update icon in breeze icon theme called (update-none)

It's working fine on my machine.

when you restart the shell it takes a second to load the icon

killall plasmashell

kstart5 plasmashell

Also if no updates are available it autohides

it worked now I think my problem was the path of icon file or the type (SVG)
