This is a difficult one. There's a part of me that thinks this is alternative medicine but the NHS and cancer research provide it when necessary... Might add regardless as long as it's fairly straightforward.

This IS an alternative medicine. A few studies have researched it and nearly all of them are quite vague in their findings and are not super confident in deciding whether this is great for Cirrhosis or not.

For simplicity sake - I'll add milk thistle to the game. It can be a naturally occurring (or grown) flower that improves liver function by 35% and increases moving speed by 5% when taken. I'll make it so that no bill is required to turn it into usable medication and rather it yields useful stuff instantly upon harvest.

The reason for the health benefits is because Cirrhosis comes with a 15% pain offset / -60% liver function and -10% moving speed. We will be moving up liver function from 40% to 75% and move speed from 90% to 95% (base).

Effects will wear off after a day and the flower itself will be relatively difficult to grow (Growing of 8+ required). The medication will only work on those with Cirrhosis so there are no benefits to taking it like an antibiotic where Blood Filtration is actually improved beyond 100%.
