Xmipp: loading an EMDB .map file, resizing in Xmipp, and then save as .map?

I am trying to do the following:

Load an EMDB .map file
Resize it using Xmipp
And then I want to save/export it as a .map file or a readable format in Python (for example the mrcfile pip package can open .map files from EMDB)

I don't see an export volume option. I notice that Xmipp is creating .vol files, but I don't know how to open these in Python.

Please help, thanks.

Solved: I can open the .vol files in Chimera and save as .mrc files.
