additional solution: used a dummy for the cohort (e.g. before/after 1940)

are you running models with/without missclassification?

with - have obs from 3 to 2, but model doesn't allow it. backward transitions are due to measurement erorr

in oder to fit the model with miss/class do not need to change the data, only the model
