Why is volumetric weight mandatory for Piece? It shouldn´t be!

I agree. Especially different airlines might have different calculation rules for the volumetric weight - so it can only computed after the airline got determined and that also implies that there is only one airline at all and no other trucking or other transport types requires a different volumetric weight at all.

volumetric weight being mandatory is also not compatible with ocean transport.

Is it possible to fix this in the upcoming 2.0 version, too at May-2022-standard-forCOTBendorsement/Data-Model/IATA-1R-DM-Ontology.ttl ?

Hi both, looks good to me. Will merge and do it for the 2.0.0 version as well.
