There's stuff in this text, but "Publisher ID" is also a thing from the registry @isabelbirds

These changes are now live.

This is a big site-wide update so please do let me know if you find any strays that we may have missed.

Thanks

I'm not sure if https://github.com/IATI/D-Portal/issues/672 is related / a knock on?

notshi commented 5 months ago

Should this be Reporting Org instead of Reporting Organisation since we already have Participating Org in the filter list?

Thanks for the notice @notshi

We know that Org is shorthand for Organisation, but to avoid confusing people overly - we should probably just spell out Org to Organisation consistently?

Sorry for any thing-upon-thing-upon-thing via this!

notshi commented 5 months ago

Sure thing ~ when we did the filters, we were trying to closely align the text with the Standard elements and so went with Org (without the hyphen).

So should that also be Participating Organisation too?

That would also mean that we replace any instances of Org with organisation (unless plural). And this https://github.com/IATI/D-Portal/issues/672 should also be Reporting Organisations?

Thanks @notshi

Yes, I think Organisation(s) rather than Org is more supportive to people, and is in line with the standard sufficiently
