I was surprised to see tag
with its own codelist (TagVocabulary
). I was expecting it to reuse SectorVocabulary
, because I thought one use case was people using those existing vocabularies, but without a statistical percentage split.
There should be an update to the Version
Codelist so that there is a version of it that states that 2.03
is a thing!
Just an response to @Bjwebb comment:

This forms part of the proposal that was presented with the 2.03 final technical proposal - at present the TagVocabulary
codelist will be non-embedded, so additions (even replications in line with the SectorVocabulary
codelist) can be made in line with the non-embedded codelist modification process.
The TagVocabulary
codelist also allows use of a reporting organisation value, so it is also possible to use the IATI SectorVocabulary
codelist, with the corresponding tag/@vocabulary-uri
attribute pointing to the source IATI codelist.
~NOTE: #220 should be merged before this~ This has now been merged
Implements version 2.03 non-embedded codelist changes based on the final technical proposal.
A PR containing changes to show what
v2.03
will look like. This replaces #224 by merging from a branch with a name that is the same as equivalent branches in other repositories.
