BluePic App doesnt start on Bluemix #408

Open flangel opened 7 years ago

flangel commented 7 years ago

I am trying to run Bluepic on Bluemix using a trial account, but I get an error, without any further details:

  1. Downloaded Swift Tools
  2. Selected BluePic runtime
  3. Deployed to Bluepic in US South region using trial account
  4. After a while, it shows "stopped scade-bluepic app"

There is no reasonable logging indicating the error.

Please advise. thanks Frank

Hi Frank,

When I followed the above-mentioned steps, the application is working fine for me. I am not able to replicate the issue.

Thanks, Ishan

It looks like BluePic had some issues over the weekend and that they're resolved now. @flangel When you get a chance, please try again and update here. Thanks!

I tried and i now - compared to a day before - get the following

WARNING: Default supported Swift version: swift-3.1.1 -----> WARNING: Requested Swift version for your app: swift-3.1 Staging failed

Can I set the Swift version somewhere. Did the Swift runtime change, and the bluemix app wasn't updated?

Hi everyone, any idea what i am doing wrong here ? The warning is obvious, but how i fit it ? The Bluepic server app should be supported by IBM, correct?

HI @flangel - I am going to go through the steps myself and see if I can replicate. in the meantime can I ask you the following:

I will connect back once I try to replicate.

Thank you

BTW @flangel - the Swift version is not related to your Swift version (3.1) - Bluepic was tested successfully with Swift 3.1. So we will need to look somewhere else.
