Request Access: [Errno -5] No address associated with hostname #384

Describe the bug Exception is displayed when requesting access for a new user.

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Go to 'http://0.0.0.0:8000/login/'
  2. Click on 'Request Access'
  3. Select any product from the Products Dropdown
  4. Click on "Send Request"

Expected behavior mail to verify address should be send to the user. Error should be displayed if something fails
