problems about the third feature in the semantic graph :constituent tree #4

Hi，Kun:我想问问第三个特征：constituent tree，感觉图画的不清楚，

论文写的是： we add the non-terminal nodes of the constituent tree and the edges describing their parent-child relationships into the syntactic graph. 图中画蓝色的结点要加进去，然后parent-child边加进去，加边相当于加结点，结点特征是parent-child关系，可是我有两点疑问：1.边应该是有向边吧，为啥图里面画的是双向的边啊，parent-child方向不应该只有一个方向吗？2.第一排蓝色的结点上面也就是红色画圈的范围 应该就没内容了吧，为啥还有画一下红色的双向边呢，很奇怪啊。
