Since labextensions are a UI application, it can be really nice to have a visual preview of what you are installing before you install it.
I mad a gif screenshot recording of this extension in action. This PR adds that screenshot at the top of the README. I would have appreciated seeing this when I first installed the repo.
The main downside is that the screen recording gif is kind of large (335 KB), and maybe that would add too much bloat to the repo.
