Reaching beta/ stable #41

Hello,

Is there any forecasts if/ when the operator might reach a beta/ stable status? What might be missing for you to be comfortable to release it as a beta/ stable version?

We're hoping to get some more usage around some of the features (especially at scale and around scaling) before declaring them ready. We have a few teams using this internally, but we haven't faced cluster wide issues, k8s upgrades, node failures, etc yet. We have tests for a lot of these things and have tried to simulate outages and such but that's still not covering enough of the real-world scenarios that we can/will encounter. So really it's just time and getting more people to use the operator. I'll sync with the team and see if we can come up with some requirements and possible timeframe.
