Some of these glyphs might already be included in IBM Plex Sans KR and/or IBM Plex Sans JP.

Maybe, but for me to use those families would mean changing families constantly (I mean in InDesign, either at a character basis or through character styles). And then there is the Serif family, which also deserves to have those code points covered.

I know I’m asking without giving. I’m not a coder nor a type designer, just a typesetter and teacher. It’s just that I find myself wanting to use some characters and so few typefaces cover them. For instance, I can use Brill (for personal uses only), but I dislike some of its morphologic traits, and its apostrophe is placed too low. The Plex families please me a lot more.

We'll have a look at your requests to determine whether they can be implemented in some simple updates. Can’t promise anything though. There is quite a backlog with requests and a limited budget for implementing them.
