This menu is a linear display of all the users of the HPC data rep. It is organised alphabetically by FIRST NAME, which makes it a little more difficult to find entries. I wonder if it might be searchable, in the sense of typing a few characters and see what is revealed? Perhaps also the ORCID for each person might also be displayed as an alternative?

The names come from our LDAP service which returns only the composite string, not separate first and surnames. with Chrome, at least, one can start typing a name when the list has focus and it will automatically move to the relevant entry.
