So, our requirements for the logo are related to the usage that we are going to give to it. Basically we require different resolutions for the logo so it can be used in different social media and also as wallpapers:

Site Pixel Horizontal Pixels Vertical
GitHub repo social preview (*) 1280 640
1080p 1920 1080
4k 3840 2160
eChempad Web IU (*2) 133 34
iochem Web IU (old logo) 301 43
eChempad Icon 256 256
eChempad warning sign (*3) 62 60
eChempad logo CAS sign in (*4) 370 76

(*) Github includes a template for the social preview: 1

(*2) The eChempad web IU logo looks like this currently (shitty design by @AleixMT, actually my first time using photoshop): 2

(old logo) This design was temporarily changed by *2, but we want to have it again but with the eChempad logo create-small-white

(*3) The echempad warning sign looks like this (inherited from iochem): 3

(*4) The echempad logo CAS sign in (inherited from iochem) looks like this: logo_iochembd

I made the logos myself using Inkspace.

The final palette is this one: image

These were the "goals" to achieve when generating the logos. If we do not have the same pixel proportion on both axis we can't have the required pixels in both axis, only in one if we do not want to stretch the image. Note that the number of pixels of the images that have been generated that met the required pixels are marked in bold:

Site Pixel Horizontal Pixels Vertical
GitHub repo social preview 1280 640
1080p 1920 1080
4k 3840 2160
eChempad Web IU navbar 212 43
eChempad Icon 256 256
eChempad warning sign 62 63
eChempad logo CAS sign in 337 76

These are the new logos:

Two more things have to be discussed regarding the logo, which potentially means that we need to rebuild all logos:
