The initial work has been done in https://github.com/ICOS-Carbon-Portal/pylib/commit/d3d87affc78a17e1e327767888f80a5bd2f3fa2a and https://github.com/ICOS-Carbon-Portal/pylib/commit/6c6ea9af31925e07ad38a4b124f9a2fee1d98627

hatch run test now executes the doctests as well
